Jason M. Murai, Esq.
Attorney at Law

Jason M. Murai is a Los Angeles attorney and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ dedicated to providing his clients with professional and practical legal services.

Jason began his legal career as in house counsel for a mult-million dollar advertising company. As in house counsel, Jason learned firsthand the problems that a business can face. Some of the issues that arose at the company required Jason to work with the Federal Trade Commission, the California Franchise Tax Board, and the IRS. As in house counsel, he practiced corporate law, employment law, civil litigaiton and dietary supplement advertising review. After several years as in house counsel,Jason joined a mid-sized international law firm, specializing in tax litigation, immigration and civil litigation.

In 2010, after the passing of his grandfather, Jason was reminded of the importance of family, and helping people. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jason considered becoming an elementary school teacher because he wanted to make a difference. He spent several years working as a kindergarten aide and a substitute teacher. He worked for two years in Japan, teaching English to high school students in Japan.

After years of working in the corporate and adversarial fields, Jason decided to start his own law firm so that he can return his focus helping people. His practice now focuses on areas of law that are proactive and can have positive effects on people, such as estate planning, bankruptcy, and immigration.

Jason is admitted to practice law in the state of California. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Japanese American Bar Association of Los Angeles.
